DESCRIPTION:Oceanography Merit Badge \n  \n  \n Scouts BSA (All Levels) \n  \n  \n Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM \n  \n  \n Associated Badges: Supports the pursuit of the Scouting America Oceanography Merit Badge. \n  \n  \n From waves to wildlife, the ocean is full of wonders (and mysteries)! We will be learning about the geology of the seafloor, how landforms affect wave patterns, and about careers in oceanography and underwater exploration. We have a certified merit badge counselor on staff to sign off on blue cards. \n  \n  \n Scouts will complete Requirements 1-6, 7(e), 8(c), and 9. Scouts will also get time on the exhibit floor, including time in the Finding Titanic special exhibition, during the program! \n  \n  \n This program is specifically for Scouts BSA (All Levels), and includes a pizza lunch, a fun patch, all materials, and exhibit floor general admission. Registration closes two (2) weeks prior to the program date. \n
