Saturday, December 5, 2026 from 9:00 AM-4:00 PM

Associated Badges: Supports the pursuit of the Scouting America Oceanography Merit Badge.

From waves to wildlife, the ocean is full of wonders (and mysteries)! We will be learning about the geology of the seafloor, how landforms affect wave patterns, and about careers in oceanography and underwater exploration. We have a certified merit badge counselor on staff to sign off on blue cards.

Scouts will complete Requirements 1-6, 7(e), 8(c), and 9. Scouts will also get time on the exhibit floor, including time in the Finding Titanic special exhibition, during the program!

This program is specifically for Scouts BSA (All Levels), and includes a pizza lunch, a fun patch, all materials, and exhibit floor general admission. Registration closes two (2) weeks prior to the program date.

Cancellation Policy
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation, based on the total number of tickets reserved per registration. Payment in full is due two weeks prior to the program.

Registration can be cancelled/transferred with a full refund, minus the 25% non-refundable deposit, up to 30 days prior to the program date.
Cancellations made 15-29 days before program date: 50 percent refund.
Cancellations made 14 days or less before program date: No refund.

Refunds will not be issued for anyone who does not attend the program unless the Da Vinci Science Center is notified 15 days or more in advance of the program date.

The Da Vinci Science Center reserves the right to cancel a program if the minimum number of registered participants is not met two weeks prior to the program date. If the Da Vinci Science Center is forced to cancel a program, groups can transfer to a different program or receive a full refund.
